Following are the Selections with Pointers for Mumbai Races to be held here on Sunday 18th April 2010.

Race No 1 : San Rafael 1, Jaanemann 2, Peregrine Falcon 3.

San Rafael : Won last time out. Maintains form. Can defy the penalty.
Chak De : Will try a start to finish attempt. An Upset Chance.
Jaanemann : Tracking very well. Will not go down without a fight.
Peregrine Falcon : Ran in good company. Wil be right there.

Race No 2 : De Nada 1, White Knight 2, Belligerent 3.

De Nada : Won well last time out. Can do it again.
Belligerent : An unextended 3rd to Cosmopolitan over 1400m. With 200m more to travel, will be a different proposition.
Snow Queen : Won in her last outing. Penalised. Will take a lot of beating today.
White Knight : Ran a fighting 2nd to Snow Queen. Can trouble the best.

Race No 3 : Green Signal 1, Urban Warrior 2, Winning Treat 3.

Green Signal : Can make it a start to finish attempt.
Urban Warrior : Running on demotion. Can fight for honours in this medicore lot.
Winning Treat : Should fight for minor placings.
Monk's Ferrari : Was unextended in her last 2 runs. Earlier ran a good 3rd to Satsuma Star. If my connections decide, I will be right there at the finish.

Race No 4 : Ecstatica 1, Dear Liza 2, Call To Arms 3.

Ecstatica : Won easily over the same trip in a smart timing of 1.23.72 secs. Should be the good bet of the day.
Dear Liza : Won well last time out. With extra 200m to run, will take a lot of beating.
Call To Arms : A Handicap chance.

Race No 5 : Albuurz 1, Check Her Out 2, Monarchos 3.

Check Her Out : A Speedy customer. Runs with an Upset Chance.
Monarchos : Won in a tight finish last time out. May defy the penalty.
Creme De La Creme : If a decide to put my best foot forward, I can make them all run.
Albuurz : Ignore last 2 runs. Working exceedingly well. Will be hard to beat.

Race No 6 : Cabriolet 1, Mr Greedy 2, Sea Star 3.

Mr Greedy : A consistent performer who runs with an Upset Chance.
Cabriolet : Won easily in his first start in Mumbai over 1400m in a record timing. Working very well. Will be hard to beat.
Sea Star : Has been a good campaign so far but may find it hard this time to beat Cabriolet.

Race No 7 : Sheikha 1, Emerald Star 2, Takestwototango 3.

Sheikha : A failed favourite in her only run this season. Tracking well. With Jockey B.Prakash onboard will try to make amends.
Takestwototango : Won impressively in her debut start. Working well in the morning trials. Will try to make it 2 in a row.
Emerald Star : Won over the same trip in his last start. Running on promotion. May surprise.
Alaska : Can make it a start to finish affair. An Upset Chance.

Race no 8 : Blackjack 1, Su Chaliyo 2, Flying Jewel 3.

Su Chaliyo : Came from nowhere to finish an impressive 3rd in his debut run. Tracking well. Can win.
Alice Springs : Working well. May win in her debut itself.
Blackjack : A well bred filly. Working exceedingly well. Will not go down without a fight.
Flying Jewel : Ran an unextended 5th in her last start. May surpise over this extended trip.

Days Best : Ecstatica (4 - 1)

Good Bets : Albuurz (5 - 8) & Cabriolet (6 - 2)

Upsets : Chak De (1 - 2), Monk's Ferrari (3 - 5) & Alice Springs (8 - 4).
